GPS Watch

In the past few months I have made great use of a GPS watch for my running. I had previously run with a basic watch that gave me time only, but was unable to tell me the distance covered. The GPS watch is incredibly liberating for wanting to do specific distances as it allows you to explore pretty much as you see fit- as long as you have the GPS on you can go off as you please. I was previously using Google Maps and was sticking to the same route all the time. It is also very handy for wanting to do specific times in events as you can increase or decrease your speed based upon the pace the watch is giving you. So the GPS watch is a device I highly recommend to anyone doing running,
